She's seen his troubling world up close, and when Justin Bieber's friend Carmen Ortega stepped out in Orange County on Wednesday... concern for the star was etched on her face. 

The 30-year-old model, who told Mail Online she fears Bieber 'could wind up dead' headed to work out frustrations at the gym as it was revealed Bieber - who has just been charged with attack on limo driver - is 'blowing $1M a month.' 

'He’s blowing through $1 million a month,' a source told Page Six. 'The guys handling his investments at Mellon Bank complain that there is nothing left for them to invest.'

Bieber was ranked at No. 27 in the earnings category of Forbes magazines’s 2013 list of the world’s most powerful celebrities last year and his earnings for the year were $58 million.
