Reunions with ex boyfriends are often awkward.
But Dannii Minogue calmed any nerves by making sure she looked a million dollars for her red carpet appearance at the Logie Awards in Melbourne on Sunday night.
Dannii's former flame and father of her son Ethan, Kris Smith, was also in attendance at the TV awards ceremony.
The X Factor judge wore a stunning gunmetal-grey sequined dress with a thigh-high split to the ceremony.
The 42-year-old sexed-up the red carpet at the Crown Complex Palladium in the strapless Paolo Sebastian gown.
She teamed the racy dress with incredibly high peeptoe platform heels and a serious amount of bling on her neck and wrist.
And model Kris, who split from Dannii in 2012, looked dapper in a dark navy suit with black satin piping.
The former couple previously attended the prestigious awards together, back in 2009.
And the pair are still in touch now because of their four-year-old son, Ethan.
However, Kris, 35, has now moved on from the difficult split and is in a relationship with Maddy King - who seems to be morphing into a Dannii doppelganger.
The gorgeous model recently got her long, brunette locks chopped into a cropped hairdo like Dannii's.
Meanwhile, Dannii is currently dating multi-platinum songwriter and producer Adrian Newman.
It is believed Adrian, who has worked with the likes of Michael Franti & Spearhead, Jade Macrae and The Veronicas, is helping Dannii with her music comeback.
The singer has been plagued by pregnancy rumours lately, but has been seen dressing in an array of figure-hugging outfits in a bid to quash them.
Dannii and Kris first began dating in 2008 after meeting at a nightclub on the Spanish party island of Ibiza.
They confirmed their separation on Twitter in 2012 - simultaneously - and the former UK rugby league player moved out of the couple's luxury home in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
