The Latin Grammy Awards wasn't about to let Mother Nature rain on its parade—well, not completely.

The 14th annual awards show, which took place tonight at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, canceled the standard red green carpet arrivals outdoors in lieu of covered protection from Sin City's current rainy weather.

Puerto Rican singer-songwriter, model, actress, producer and writer Lucero, who hosted tonight's festivities, took time to meet with the press backstage and said, "I think the rain is a good sign. It's rare that it rains in Las Vegas. What happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas. So no one tell anyone it rained."

Well, that cat's out of the bag.

Regardless, the awards show continued with its telecast, and the biggest names in Latin music went on to thrill the crowd with live performances, hand out awards and honor each other's achievements.
